Ahhhhhhh I love theme cafes. Husband and I made it to the Square Enix Cafe a few weeks ago, and I managed to snag a seat at Artnia for today.

Barret’s roll sando, Cid’s drink, and Gongaga’s drink. Plus one of the unique coasters!

I think I am going to take my toddler to her first theme cafe this afternoon.

One of the things for sale (aside from food and drink) is bubbles and she's REALLY into bubbles right now.

It is SO hard to keep up with theme cafes.

I just learned of a new one (to me) and I've been SO CLOSE to it for years. It's in a store I go to with some regularity, just not on that specific floor >.<

This feels like something a content creator would do, but I kinda want to show off the various things I have in my anime binders. I could list the various categories and numbers to choose from and let people pick X of them to see like a random lottery?

For perspective, I have like 150 clear files, 60+ acrylic stands, ~60 placemats, 70+ coasters, a whole smattering of post cards/stickers/small things...

9 binders (two are portfolios), 6 small binders for acrylics, plus a lot of small items that aren't stored away and live around my desk. Oh and 5 bins of manga filled to various partial capacities.

Which, aren't really that many compared to hardcore collectors, but the coasters are rare since they only are obtainable during cafes which are generally one and done...

Hello and welcome!

My name is Jen and I am a tired bi millennial who is reclaiming her "missed" youth and embracing something of a (married) fujoshi life. I am currently deeply obsessed with JJK, although there is plenty of other fandoms and nonsense you'll find around here (looking at you Fruits Basket, FFXIV, Hakuoki, Gokuragkugai, KNY, Fate, etc).

I'll get around to making a more proper intro post at some point.

Jen の jjk merch - As I post more of my modest merch collection. Currently mostly stickers, clear files, and acrylic stands. Jen の anime merch - I shop for animanga and game merch quite regularly and I'm happy to show it off. If there's something you like, let me know and we can perhaps arrange something! Jen の theme cafe - I love theme cafes, and on average I go to at least one a month. Coasters and placemats are the typical collectible.

Jen の goshuin - I love receiving goshuin. I am not the best at taking photos of them while at the shrine or temple, but I'm trying to get better.

I went to the FF 1-6 Pixel Remaster cafe from Square Enix! I had a meeting in the am and I didn’t think I’d make it in time, but I was only a little late. Being a veteran of these cafes, I knew I could just sit down and order quickly with plenty of time to enjoy.

I got a dupe coaster of the secret design, a little disappointed, since they only come with drinks. The food was really good, FF5 curry (the green was really spicy!), FF4 taco, FF1 crystals jelly. And drinks for FF6 Terra (and of course a picture with my Terra), FF 2 Emperor, and FF4 Cecil.

Can’t wait to go back for part 2!
